Steps to Get Aadhaar card with Name or Date of Birth

  • Step 2: In this page, you will find ‘Update Aadhaar Details’ and below which you will find ‘Update Aadhaar Details (Online)’ option.
  • Step 3: Click on that option and you will be redirected to the update page as displayed below.

Aadhaar-Self-Service-Update

  • Step 4: Enter your Aadhaar Number in this page, along with the verification code displayed on the page.
  • Step 5: After entering the code, you have to click on ‘Send OTP’ option. You will receive this OTP in your registered mobile number or e-mail ID.
  • Step 6: Once you are redirected to the next page, after providing the OTP, you will find an option to update the mobile number. Select that option
  • Step 7: Provide the alternate mobile number and verify the number once again, before submitting the request.
  • Step 8: Once you submit the application form for updating the mobile number, the request will be processed in 2 working days and you can also check for the status of the request in the online portal with the help of the URN number provided.
  • Step 9: You do not require any extra documents for changing your registered mobile number. If the request is not processed for a long time and you are not receiving any update on your old mobile, you have to visit the nearest Aadhaar Enrolment Centre, for checking for the status.

Aadhaar-Data-Update-Form

  • With the help of this form, the demographic information like Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Age, Address, Relationship Status, Email ID and Mobile number can be updated.
  • Provide the correct information while filling the form.
  • In addition to this, provide proper documents, with the help of which the personnel in the Aadhaar enrolment center, can verify the provided information.
  • Once the form, has been submitted, you will be provided with a Unique reference number (URN).
  • The individual can check the status of their update request through online with the help of the Aadhaar number and the Unique reference number provided, at the enrolment center.
