Step 1: Click on the below link in order to visit the ‘Aadhaar self service Update Portal’, which is operated by ‘Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI)’.
Step 2: In this page, enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number and enter the security code for verification.
Step 3: After entering, Click on ‘Send OTP’ button and you will receive an OTP to your registered mobile number
Step 4: Provide the OTP in the space given. After this click on the Login button.
Step 5: You will be redirected to a new page, with your details, that can be updated online. The options available in this page are Name, Gender, Mobile, Address, Date of Birth and Email-ID.
Step 6: Change the mobile number in this page and click on the ‘Submit’ button.
Step 7: Once you click on the update button, you will be redirected to a page, which displays your updated mobile number. Check if it is fine and click on the ‘Proceed’ button.
Step 8: Your request will be accepted and since you do not need any proof for updating your mobile number, you can click ‘submit’, without adding any extra documents.
Step 9: After submission, you will receive an URN, through which you will be able to track the request proceeding.
Step 10: Your request will be completed in 7 working days. You can check the status with the help of the URN number provided.
