Finding Aadhaar Card or Enrolment Number by Name or Mobile Number

Every individual will be provided with an enrolment slip, after we have registered for the aadhaar card. However, there is a great deal of chance of losing this enrolment number. In order to rectify this issue, government has launched a search service, through which an individual can find his or her enrolment number and subsequently download their aadhaar card, which will be available online, shortly after registering.

Step 1: Click on the below link and you will be navigated to the government official website https://resident.uidai.gov.in/

Step 2: In this page, click on the ‘ENROL & GET AADHAAR’ tab. After which you will be redirected to the below page

Step 3: In this page, you will find an option ‘Retrieve Your Enrolment ID or Aadhaar’. We have highlighted the option for you.

Step 4: When you open this page, you will be asked for a set of information like, ‘Name, Email, Mobile and Security code’. And you can also choose between Aadhaar Number and enrolment number.

Step 5: After entering the details, you will be able to generate the OTP and you will receive this OTP number in your registered mobile number.

Step 6: Once you receive the OTP, you can validate the OTP and your enrolment number or Aadhaar number, which you have chosen will be generated. 

You may not worry if you have lost your enrolment slip or aadhaar number, government has ensured that individual can retrieve the aadhaar card, with the help of their Name, Date of Birth or Registered mobile number.
